Kihiw waciston School is a First Nation elementary school that serves the community of Muskeg Lake. Our school’s 80 students, from Headstart to grade 5, move on to complete their education in the neighbouring communities of Leask and Blaine Lake.

The school is a modern facility that includes a large gym and classrooms equipped with smart boards and up-to-date technology. Our teachers are well educated and continue to be involved in professional development so we can deliver a strong academic and culturally appropriate program. Students receive Cree language instruction and have many opportunities to learn about their own culture.
